Level 2 COSHH Course

This half-day Level 2 COSHH Course is designed to provide learners who come into contact with hazardous substances with the knowledge and skills to recognise the risk associated with these substances and understand how to control them. This includes workplaces in areas such as manufacturing, cleaning, healthcare, transport, utilities and office environments.

Level 2 COSHH Course Contents

  • Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Legislation
  • COSHH Risk assessment
  • Identifying hazardous substances
  • Duties relating to hazardous substances and the consequences of non-compliance
  • How different hazardous substances can enter the body and their effects on health
  • Identifying risk control measures and recognising common COSHH symbols
  • Procedures for dealing with an incident

Highfield Accredited Course

On successful completion of the multiple choice exam, delegates will receive Highfield accredited Level 2 Award in the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health.
