Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work Course

This qualification is specifically for those individuals who are to become an emergency first-aider in the workplace. This one-day qualification meets the requirements of both the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.

Level 3 Emergency First Aid Course

This qualification is aimed at learners who wish to become emergency first-aiders in the workplace. This qualification meets the requirements for training emergency first-aiders in those organisations that have identified that staff need to be trained to this level within their first-aid needs assessment.

Level 3 Emergency First Aid Contents

  • Roles and responsibilities of the first aider
  • Primary and secondary survey
  • Treating a breathing, unresponsive casualty
  • Treating a non breathing, unresponsive casualty (CPR)
  • Treating seizures
  • Treating a chocking casualty
  • Treating different types of bleeds
  • Treating a casualty going into shock
  • Treating burns and scalds
